Globally Speaking Newsletter: Advocate Today For Citizen Diplomacy!

IVLP leaders from Europe and Bosnia and Herzegovina engage in citizen diplomacy during their visits to local companies and organizations with Global Ties Akron community partners.

The United States Congress has limited time in session to pass FY 2026 funding bills that will keep the government funded past September 30th. We need to advocate as this funding impacts theย International Visitor Exchange Program (IVLP) which is instrumental in supporting citizen diplomacy and bringing international professionals like those who attended theย Current U.S. Social, Political, and Economic Issues for Young European Leaders II.
