Become 1 of 50 community leaders making a difference in Akron
For 50 years, global diplomacy in Akron has grown through host family dinners, school visits, and local business meetings.
To mark this 50-year anniversary, an anonymous donor will match every gift of $50 or more, dollar-for-dollar, up to a total sum of $2500 through September 30, to expand the impact of 50 community members on international exchanges in Akron, Ohio.
What Your Donation Does Locally
| $50 becomes $100 Brings an international speaker to one of our global education programs. |
| $100 becomes $200 Provides 10 international visitors with welcome packages to help introduce them to our Greater Akron community. |
| $250 becomes $500 Funds coordination, venue and refreshments for a professional exchange meeting between international visitors and Greater Akron businesses and community leaders. |
