From July 1 to July 7, 2026, Global Ties Akron will serve as a premier host city for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Freedom 250: Entrepreneurship in Local Communities initiative.
This high-profile project is part of the U.S. Department of State’s national Freedom 250 celebration, honoring the United States’ semi-quincentennial (250th anniversary). Learn more about the role of the Global Ties US network during the festivities here.
