Register Now: Thanksgiving Celebration with an International Flair
📅 Sunday, November 15, 2026
🕔 5:00–7:30 PM
📍Bethany United Church of Christ
Celebrate Thanksgiving through the lens of cultural exchange at this special Global Ties Akron gathering.
This festive evening brings together community members and international students to share food, traditions, and stories from around the world, catered by Chef John Bahas from JB Chef Catering. In keeping with the tradition of our past Thanksgiving celebrations, you are still warmly invited to bring a favorite dish to share.
Enjoy a warm, welcoming atmosphere that highlights how cultural exchange enriches our understanding of gratitude, hospitality, and global connection. This event is a meaningful opportunity to connect across cultures with our international students who are far away from home while celebrating a holiday rooted in togetherness.
