About the Passport to Wine and Dine: This is the fifth year of our event. Join us in celebrating our Citizen Diplomat of the Year and the Building Bridges Awards. Our guests will enjoy international wines provided by Bottle to Glass with cuisine by TLC Catering, desserts, and entertainment representing world cultures that enrich our Akron community.

Support for our Global Ties Akron mission and programs: Our programs bring the world to Akron and Northeast Ohio and link Akron globally. Our visionary founders realized that our community is enhanced by the presence of international dignitaries, scholars, students, and guests. Global Ties Akron developed the Know Your Community – Know Your World global education program to share the wealth of cultural knowledge that international representatives bring to Akron. This program brings the world into the classrooms connecting youth to local and global diversity and preparing them for future success in a diverse and interdependent workplace and world.
