 owth? From May 6 to May 10\, 2026\, Global Ties Akron is proud to host a t
 ransformative international project \,"Workforce and Business Development:
  Pathways for Youth\," in partnership with American Councils for Internati
 onal Education.\n\nThis initiative focuses on developing the international
  youth workforce right here\, in Akron\, OH\, showcasing U.S. leadership i
 n building regional stability through expanded commercial opportunities an
 d vocational excellence.\nBuilding "America’s Talent Strategy"\nThis pro
 ject directly supports the national mission: “Building the Workforce for
  the Golden Age.” During this week-long exchange\, international partici
 pants will join local experts to examine how we can better align education
  with economic demands.\nBridging the Gap Between Classrooms and Careers\n
 \nA highlight of this program is the series of on-site business visits. We
  will be visiting local Akron businesses that provide targeted internships
  and employment opportunities for young people. Furthermore\, we will expl
 ore how government transformation efforts—specifically in accountability
  and innovation—can support a more flexible and resilient workforce.\n\n
 Why this matters for Northeast Ohio: By fostering youth workforce developm
 ent in Akron\, we aren't just helping individuals\; we are strengthening o
 ur entire local economy.\n\nWhen our youth are prepared for technical and
